A beautiful longcase clock, the case is constructed of oak and mahogany, with satinwood, walnut and rosewood inlays with flowers to the base and a conch shell to the door The original 4 pillar movement is of 8-day duration, strikes the hour on a bell., The swan neck pediment has turned pillars and the base is supported by bracket feet, A quality 14” painted dial has follies painted to the corners with an exceptional cottage in the arch, Roman numerals, and a subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture with brass hands, The quality 4 pillar movement is of 8-day duration, strikes the hour on a bell.
