Longcase clock by Joseph  Hitchins of Painswick,a decorative  longcase clock principally in oak and mahogany  with a swan neck pediment, profusely inlaid with ebony, rosewood and boxwood stringing , columns  to the hood with brass capitals, the 12 ”painted dial with Roman numerals, date aperture and seconds  subsidiary dial ,the painted dial has flowered corners and exotic shell painted in the arch, with  brass hands , The four pillar movement is of eight day duration  and strikes the hour on a bell.
